1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Hello Future Kindergarteners!

We invite you to join families all over the country in setting the goal to read 1,000 books together before children enter kindergarten. Since we’re all staying in to stay safe, now is the perfect time to dive in and make lots of progress towards turning little ones into lifelong readers.  It’s never too early to start.

If you have been recording your books in your reading log, keep reading and keep recording! When the library reopens, we will be delighted to see you again, talk about all the books you’ve been reading, and give you the prizes you have earned!

If you don’t have a reading log, YOU CAN STILL PARTICIPATE! Just have your grownup keep a list of the books you are reading together, and we will honor that as your reading log when the library reopens. Or, you can add the Moorestown Library as a friend on GoodReads and record your books online.
