This game is perfect for children ages 2-5 who are not yet reading on their own, or are learning to read. This game also works well for older children who have special needs. Select 10 activities from the list to build your pre-reading and reading skills and win a prize when you’ve completed all ten. You can find the activities and track your progress on the READSquared website or REAdSquared app. Or, you can call to pick up an activity sheet and a set of books for completing it at the library, once the library re-opens. You will win prizes at the end of the program.

EL-2New Readers Summer Reading Game

This program is perfect for emerging readers ages 5-7 entering Kindergarten and first grade. You will keep a list of the books you read or have read to you. You can call and request to pick up a reading log at the library once the library re-opens or use the READSquared website or READSquared app to list your books. You will win a prize when you have completed 5 books, and another prize at 15 books.

This reading game is open to children ages 7-12 (entering grades 2-6). You will read books and log them on the READSquared website or READSquared app. You will win prizes as you go, including a small prize at 5 books and Amazon gift cards for 10 and 20 books.

TN-5Teen Summer Reading

Teen Summer Reading is for students ages 12-18 (entering grades 7-12). You will read books of your choice and write book reviews on the READSquared website or READSquared app.  You’ll earn a cookie from the Pie Lady Cafe for reviewing your first 3 books. After that, you’ll earn a $5 Wawa gift card for reading 5 books and another $5 Wawa gift card for reading 10 books. Each book review is converted into a raffle ticket for a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card. So the more you read and review, the more chances you have to win the big prize.

Each week, a new Trivia Quiz will be posted under MISSIONS. If you answer all the questions correctly, you’ll get an extra ticket in the grand prize raffle.

NEW THIS YEAR FOR TEENS: Get volunteer hours for writing book reviews we can share with other readers!
