The Jungle Book is based on Rudyard Kipling’s fanciful stories of India. The kindly old wolf, Akela, and the steadfast bear, Baloo, rescue a baby who is lost in the jungle. They protect Mowgli from the tiger Shere Khan and teach him the rules of the jungle. Through a series of adventures and misadventures, the animals learn that the boy is better off living among people. Holding on to the lessons that he has learned in the jungle, Mowgli find a home and family in the village. Two actors play all the parts in this delightfully creative production.
