Adult Summer Reading 2022

The program runs from June 20 to August 27.

Flex your imagination! At the Moorestown Library, we want adults to be excited about summer reading too. The New Jersey State Library has provided READSquared to libraries to offer summer reading in this era of remote services and social distancing. The program involves tracking your reading online and of course, earning prizes!

You can sign up and record your progress at: moorestownlibrary.readsquared.com
or download the READSquared app

Here’s how it works:

The program is open to adults ages 18+. (Not 18 yet? Check out the children’s and teen summer reading programs.) If you registered last year you can registered for this year with the same password and login. If not, register here. Logging of books begins on June 20.

Read books and log them on the READSquared website or app. Log e-books, library books, audio books, or books from home. The last day to log books is August 27.

Earn prizes as you go:

  • Earn a badge for reading 5 books and again at 10 books for a free book at the Friends of the Moorestown Library Book Sale.  Book sale dates are September 23 and 24, 2022.  You can also redeem the badge in the library on the book sale carts/shelves.   Print the badge or show it on your phone for redemption.  Badge redemption expires September 30, 2022.
  • Earn a raffle ticket for every book read, up to 10, for a chance to win a one-year Family membership to Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. There will be 2 raffle winners for this prize.  Winners will be notified the first week of September.
