Who are the Friends of the Moorestown Library?
The Friends of the Moorestown Library, officially known as the Moorestown Free Library Association, has worked to ensure library access for Moorestown residents since 1853. Today, we fund many of the resources, programs, and activities the Library offers. We want our patrons to experience the Library without monetary concern. We do this thanks to the generosity of our existing and new members through membership dues, donations, book sales, and volunteering. Every dollar we collect from Friends of the Library membership dues and donations goes to support the Library for activities, events, and extras.
The Moorestown Free Library Association is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Memberships and contributions are fully tax deductible.
The Friends fund a wide variety of library projects and services including:
- Museum Passes
- Youth and Adult Programming
- Summer Reading
- Hotspots
- E-books and Audiobooks
- Kanopy
- Outdoor Umbrellas and Select Other Furniture
- Discovery Packs
- Book Group in a Bag
Why become a member of the Friends of the Library?
Membership directly supports the programming and resources library patrons and the Moorestown community rely on.
Members who provide their email address receive our monthly Fiction for Friends newsletter, offering a sneak peek of 10-20 fiction books to be published in the upcoming months. We also host occasional special events for our members.
Who can become a Friends member?
