Hello Future Kindergarteners!

We invite you to join families all over the country in setting the goal to read 1,000 books together before children enter kindergarten.  It’s never too early to start. Pick up a reading log at the library for your infant, toddler, or preschooler, or register and track your books online through READSquared. Parents and caregivers read books aloud to children and record them in the reading log or through the READSquared website or app. Look for the milestones at 250, 500, and 750 books when you can come to the library to get prizes for your reading accomplishments. When you’ve read 1,000 books and are ready for kindergarten, we’ll throw a big celebration in your honor!
